What we do
Low cost, self-funding, large scale climate change mitigation.
Frost methane exists to identify, flare, and monitor concentrated methane seeps in the arctic and around the globe. We do this for the dual purpose of mitigating climate change and quantifying an existential risk from runaway feedback. We then sell climate mitigation impact into international carbon markets. We use this revenue to invest in future deployments, building a massive network of self-sustaining climate mitigation.

A LITTLE GEOLOGY
Carbon trapped within permafrost is more than double what‘s in the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this permafrost is also holding back a much larger source: arctic gas reservoirs that represent 240 times the amount of methane in the atmosphere. Rising temperatures in the arctic threaten to release a feedback loop by releasing this trapped methane.
